Pre Exam Tips X Mathematics 2011(SA2)
16/ 1/ 11
CBSE board Exams 2011(SA2) begin in a few days from now on 1 march 2011. Mathematics paper is on 05 March 2011. Students have about 1 Month 15 days for preparing this paper .
This year too we bring for you latest pre exam tips by experienced CBSE school teachers. In the last years students have benefited a lot with our tips.
As usual we begin with students who find mathematics very difficult. These students should begin with some selected topics which are comparatively easy to ensure that they get through the exams.

1. Coordinate Geometry - 10 marks
This chapter contains mainly 3 formulae (a) distance formula (b) Section formula (c) formula for area of triangle

2.Constructions - 3 marks
Do not forget this small chapter.Solve sample paper here.
3.Probability - 6 Marks
probability is one of the easiest chapters. Here we only need to know the definition of theoretical probability. Always carefully find out number of possible outcomes. Solve Sample Paper Here
4. Circles - about 13 marks (16 along with constructions)
It consists of two easy theorems. In additions most of the questions in NCERT book are easy. Even students finding Maths difficult can get most of the marks from this chapter. Solve Sample Paper Here

5. Quadratic Equations and AP - 20 Marks
In my opinion a students who should do at least learn the formulae and solve each question in NCERT book several times. With this a students can get at least half marks out of the maximum 20 for these chapters. For Sample Papers Scroll Down
