A new initiative

Mr. Gurpreet singh art teacher of St. Josephs Convent School Bathinda ,Punjab who is a very talented person and has got a number of national and state level awards for his Paintings has started SAM (students awakening movent) in his school.

SAM works to channelise the energies of teenagers towards constructive activities.SAM has already started (a) helping economically needy girl students (b) organising events against female foeticide , a chart making contest was recently held in which more than 1000 students participated. (c) AIDS awareness (d) other social evils (e) environment friendly activities such as tree plantation.
